Ken Willard acquires Fred Boone’s share of the business but keeps the Boone & Willard name, preserving the reputation the two founders spent twenty years building. With the Willard family now at the helm, the company continues to grow on the same principles of quality and reliability.

Mike Willard takes over the business from his father, Ken, becoming the second generation of the Willard family to lead the company. Building on the foundations his father laid, Mike brings fresh energy and ambition, setting the course for Boone & Willard’s next era of growth.

The company enters the high-rise residential and commercial construction space, becoming a major player in large-scale Australian projects. Taking on more complex hydraulic systems and larger sites, Boone & Willard grows its workforce and capability to partner with some of the country’s leading builders.

Boone & Willard expands beyond New South Wales, establishing operations in Queensland as part of its strategic growth plan. A dedicated Queensland team allows us to service clients across South East Queensland, strengthening our position on the east coast and opening the door to major projects in Brisbane and the Gold Coast.

After 50 years of dedicated service, Mike Willard retires from Boone & Willard, leaving behind a legacy of excellence and integrity. The company enters a new era under the leadership of Justin Geale, Robert Beldham-Collins, and Tim Willard. This transition marks a continued commitment to innovation, growth, and the values that have shaped the business since its founding.
